It's New Years Eve Everybody!

I cannot believe that when I wake up tomorrow it will be 2010!!!
This year has just flown by! It was a good year and I hope next year will be even better. We all go through ups and downs but I had many more UPs than downs this year. I am excited to see what next year brings…

My Resolutions:
Get A’s or high B’s in my classes
LOSE WEIGHT!!!!!!!!
Stop drinking so many Monsters (we’ll see)
FINALLY go on a cruise with my wonderful husband

Friendship

I once heard that friendship is a full time job. I never fully agreed but as time goes on and I get older I tend to understand more and more. In fact, I believe it to be 100% true. When work is going well you don't notice how much you are working but when there is trouble at work you definitely notice more.
What happens if one friend is working full time but the other friend is working part time?
It happens and I get it. I know I am not the worlds best friend nor do I claim to be... but a friendship is a two way street.

On another note:
Can you believe that tomorrow is New Years Eve?
I feel like this year flew by, faster than any other year. What's funny is... I don't want to do anything. Nothing at all. I look forward to a three day weekend where I will be picking out my new countertops and painting my kitchen. I have decided on Misty Surf for the color, I think it will go nice with all of my red appliances.

What are your plans to ring in the New Year?

Ok so I feel like I have accomplished something today!



I found all of the prizes for Michelle's Shower at a super cheap price and they are way too cute! I has also completed her thank you cards, I will have the guests fill out their address on the matching envelope... that way she just fills out the card and can mail it off. Super easy and took me like 20 minutes to make them. I would post pictures but I don't want her to see them and ruin the surprise : )

It's been a LONG time.

Lets see... What has been going on?
So, my last post was in June so it's been a few months.

July celebrated the Fourth at the Peoria Sports Complex, Kevin's Grandparents got us seats in the press box. They had to be the best seats in the park! We also hosted our annual 4th of July BBQ.

August we went to a wonder wedding for Lauren and Craig, Kevin was in the wedding. The wedding was at a beautiful golf course in Seal Beach.

September was my birth month : ). I had a bbq, got a tattoo on the inside of my wrist, Kevin was laid off and was offered a new job. My parents came to visit... it was a busy month.

October we went to the Hockey game (Ducks vs. Yotes). The Yotes won and I got to see Muhammed Ali!!!!!! How effin amazing!!!

November we hosted Thanksgiving for the 3rd year and this year went off without a hitch! Kevin bought these roasting ovens and it helped cook the turkey and ham in half the time and freed up space in the oven. Oh and did I mention I am going to be a GOD PARENT?!?!?! I am very excited and honored that my Bestie, Michelle and her husband Jr., would ask me to be a god mom. I had no idea that they would want me... I am just so excited to meet Atalie Belle and spoil the heck out of her.

December last weekend we went to California to celebrate Christmas a bit early with my fam and Kevins. It was nice to see everyone. I will post pictures as soon as my phone charges. This weekend we spent Christmas in AZ for the first time. It was nice to be home... it also allowed me to help my bestie for a few days. I was able to help her with anything she needed and I am still here if you need anything Michelle. I took Kevin to see the Suns vs. Clippers, the Clips lost : (
and I went shopping today for invitation paper for Michelles Baby Shower that I am throwing in Feb.
